Led by professional actors and experienced Shine Speech & Drama tutors. Shine’s innovative Summer Holiday Programmes are designed to educate, inspire, encourage creativity and artistry in a 100% fun, collaborative environment.

Programme 1:  Aspiring Young Performers - Tuesday 14th January 2020
Shine's Director Nina Burchett  will develop the craft of a group of young aspiring actors. Our focus will be on presenting yourself, audition techniques, acting skills, improvisation, and voice overs.
The students will film an audition and record a voice over.
Limited to 12 young actors.
Age: 10 years and older
Time:   9.00am - 3.00pm
M&R Learning Centre, 114 Lunn Ave, Remuera (entrance off Abbotts Way)
Cost: $120.00

Programme 2:   Wednesday 15th - Friday 17th January 2020

Programme 3:  Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd January 2020


Come and Shine with confidence!
Through drama, art, movement and improvisation children
develop their communication, speaking and acting skills.
We encourage creativity, artistry and teamwork in this collaborative and fun environment.

Places are limited to a small number to ensure the individual needs of each child is met
and they get the attention they deserve.

Age: Years 1 - 8
Time:   9.00am - 3.00pm

Cost: $95 per day, $180 for 2 days, $240 for 3 days or $300 for 4 days

Rhema graduated from acting training at UCOL, South Seas Film and Television School and The Actors' Program. She has performed in theatres across New Zealand. She has been teaching with Shine since it began and is adored by her students.

Nina Burchett is the Director of Shine Speech & Drama. Nina trained at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and awarded a Diploma from Toi Whakaari NZ Drama School. She has won numerous awards in film and theatre around the world. Nina loves to witness children thriving in a creative, structured environment and aspires to help develop the unique talents and interests of each child.
